How do you prove your mesh is optimized

Hi, I am working on a 3d model of a train coupler.I was using ansys work bench for its static structural analysis.
I am using tetrahedron patch indipendent type of mesh, which works fine.But i couldnt prove that this was the optimized mesh

I would like to know how can we determine a mesh as an optimized mesh?
What factors do i need to consider?
